Why we will always be open minded to talk about genetics and athleticism, only when it favors the black man?
All these conversations in the sport channels and all these stereotypes about the black athletes being faster and slicker in sports as basketball,football or boxing.Why all these scientific conversations of the “fast twitch muscle fibers” which is making the black athletes faster than other races?What is the point and the purpose behind all these theories?
Why don’t we talk once for a change, about genetics or how races are built differently in other sports or activities also, as :
Mountaineering and Climbing , Wrestling ,Weightlifting ,Strongest man competition , MMA ,Surfing , Swimming , Diving , Gymnastics ,Cycling ,Rowing , Equestrian , Pole vault , Javelin ,shot put , hammer throw , triple jump , high jump , walking race , Triathlon , Scuba Diving , Parachuting ,Skiing , Ice Skating , Ski Jumping , Bobsleigh , or technical skills and Precision in sports as Shooting , Archery , Fencing ?
Why we will always talk about athleticism in team sports as basketball or American Football, but we will never do the same about Baseball , Hockey , Lacrosse ,Soccer which is the most popular sport worldwide , Rugby , Cricket ?
Why Tennis or Golf is in the news only when Tiger Woods or Serena Williams win?

Boxing fans always talk about Manny Pacqauio’s athleticism and he isn’t black or Steve Young’s ability to scramble as a quarterback and he isn’t black either. I think somewhere along the road people developed this stereotype that African Americans are naturally more athletic than whites and its not true black athletes have to work just as hard.
Is Serena Williams extremely athletic yes, but you don’t hear the story’s about how her father pushed her and Venus beyond exhaustion while training them or how Tiger Woods had been golfing since he was nearly 3 years old. Sometimes I think the media has created this perception that these particular athletes don’t work hard or didn’t have to and its completely untrue.

There are plenty of non black athletes that get credit for being athletic
I don’t wanna say blacks are better athletes, because I don’t wanna say whites are better in the classroom.
I’m not black, but I don’t see the big deal. Hypothetically speaking if we took a 100 black guys and 100 White or Asian guys, a higher percentage of blacks out of that 100 would be good athletes. Consider the environment of black evolution, being more physically fit is preferred for survival in these conditions. And I don’t see anyone saying things when studies suggest that Eastern Asians and Northwest Europeans have inherently higher IQ’s then black people either, but consider the rougher environment where they had to create more tools, clothing, and other technologies to survive. Anyways, studies are just studies, lots of smart black out there who are not good at basketball and lots of dumb whites and Asians out there to.

funny, i have no idea which “sports channels” you are talking about. i never hear this stuff mentioned. granted, i’m not black, but i sure don’t hear that kind of stuff. and i think MMA is largely dominated by white guys like lesnar, st pierre, hughes, etc. and i believe the two main heavyweight boxing champions are white, so what the hell are you talking about? and “helpster”, you had better tread carefully with that ****. i sense there is something you really want to say, but are not saying it.
