A. Cruise Ships
B. Marina operations
C. Scuba Diving
D. Seafood Consumption
2.How is the clarity of ocean water affected by eroded soil that gets washed into the ocean?

B. It increases the clarity of the water
C. It does not affect the clarity of the water
3.Human activities that may have a direct environmental impact on coral reefs include all of the following EXCEPT
A. Collecting Shells
B. Fishing
C. Snorkeling
D. Airpost Construction
4. Marine debris, such as plastics and fishing gear, along the coastline will have no effect on the animals and plants that live in the ocean. .
A.True
B. False

d, c, b, b ……i am just guessing, but I am a biology major….
edit: LOL, the dude below me on #3 is so wrong. AirPOST not airPORT. Also…coral reefs are sessile, which means they are not free-floating organisms. They are all marine, none are aquatic (freshwater). Fishing doesn’t harm coral reefs, unless someone is fishing out in the middle of the ocean with 250 feet fishing lines?…HAHA. Trust me, the answer for #3 is B. And as for number 2…the answer is C, because the ocean is waaaaaaaay too big for even a big amount to affect the clarity of the oceans water.
1. Either a) or d) – I would lean towards a) as cruise ships use major ports, but I’m not certain.
2. b) Soil particles increase the turbidity of water – they make it cloudy.
3. d) Both logically (I can’t think of any way an airport would affect a reef), and by a system of elimination – all the others have an impact.
4. b) Just google “turtles marine debris” for thousands of examples.
I’m not sure but I know 3&4
Q3. C
Q4. B
