I liked the idea of having ear covers to prevent water from getting in but these don’t always work that well. There’s a seal around the ears that if not checked properly can allow water to seep in filling your ears while you’re underwater making it rather uncomfortable. It’s also quite a challenge to put this mask on with grace and speed pulling the mask over your face and the ear covers over your ears while pulling the back strap over the back of your head. When it all finally gets put on and sealed well, it works sufficiently enough for a time. Of course there’s always the hassle of keeping the fog from forming on the inside of the lens and when it does you have to remove it to clear it and then repeat the whole cumbersome process of putting it back on again.
I’m still a new user with this product and it does take some getting used to, so if you have trouble diving due to ear problems this may aleveate some of that discomfort. I noticed too though that you get a sort of pressurized feeling in your ears sometimes like its vacuum-sealed. Still working it all out. If you can do without the ear covers then I suggest you don’t get this product. If you like the idea of having dry ears while diving, this may work for you but probably not all the time.

I really like this mask. I have ear problems and because of past surgeries I shouldn’t get my ears wet. The ear cups keep the water out of my ear perfectly. I didn’t notice that it made it any easier to equalize like it claims, but I didn’t have any problem doing it. Clearing the ear cups once they fill with water (removing mask during training) they were impossible to clear. But the mask fits really snug and I don’t see it ever coming off in a real world setting so that probably isn’t a real concern. I have recommended these to many friends.
