i used to work in a travel agency where we sent people for scuba diving trips to galapagos islands and my boss was a pro photographer and he took a picture of an iguana and I fell in love with them and want one of my own (since the island has millions one less won’t hurt) for a pet and even a lizard from there too won’t be bad either. My friend who passed away at 33 told me to make a wish list of everything I want to do in life and this is one of them.
please help if you can. I really want one of those iguanas.

You can’t, their endangered
I’d contact Bill Love, he runs a business giving tours in the Islands that is reptile based. I’d take his tour, and ask him if you could get close to them.
If it’s on your short list, then spending a few grand and a few weeks getting close to them shouldn’t be too much.
As for bringing one back, I highly doubt it. You couldn’t possibly give it better conditions than it already has.
Besides the fact their are endangered, there is no way you can provide the correct setup for them to live. They only eat the algae that grows on the rocks offshore under the water. There is no way for you to supply that I’m sorry.
