Most of the island have recovered from Wilma. And yes, the crucifix remains in its original place. The diving is still the best & 84F warm. Just came back from Cozumel. I was there 3 months after Wilma and last week, did the Devil's throat both times. I am not sure what whirlythree was looking at but the crucifix was definitely lost to Wilma. Very sad. One of my best friends is a Cozumel DM and he used to make a prayer there everytime we dove it. You are right they would have hunted you down. Good dive video. I've heard that it was still there, AND that it was blown away in the hurricanes. I don't know which is true. I'll have to go back and find out!
